The MPPT RS SmartSolar is a powerful 48V solar charge controller that can handle up to 450vdc PV input, ideal for on-grid and off-grid solar power systems where maximum battery charging is required.
One of the remarkable features of the MPPT RS SmartSolar is the use of multiple independent MPPT tracking inputs, allowing you to optimize your solar panel design for maximum performance at your specific location. In addition, the complete galvanic isolation between the PV and battery connections provides additional system safety.
With a wide MPPT voltage range of 80-450vdc and a start-up voltage of 120vdc, the MPPT RS smartsolar offers flexibility in using different PV configurations. Despite its powerful performance, this charge controller is lightweight, efficient and quiet thanks to high-frequency technology and an innovative design.
The MPPT RS SmartSolar display shows the battery and solar charge controller settings, and with Bluetooth connectivity, these settings can be viewed and adjusted via a smartphone or other Bluetooth device with the VictronConnect app.
Safety is ensured by continuous monitoring of the PV insulation resistance, which provides additional peace of mind at higher voltages. With VE.Can and VE.Direct ports, you can easily connect to a GX device for system monitoring, data logging and remote firmware updates.
In addition, the MPPT RS SmartSolar provides various I/O connections, including programmable relays, a temperature sensor, auxiliary and digital inputs and voltage sensor connections. It is important to note that the ASS000020000 temperature sensor element is suitable for this controller.
